The search is divided into 5 categories (games, music, movies, soft, all). For more detailed search you
should choose the appropriate section in the software. If you want to find a movie, then choose the
section "Video". If you can not relate the file to a specific section, use the section "All".

The problem of low speed might be connected with several factors.
 
1) The speed of your internet connection. You cannot download faster than it is determined by your
Internet service package or a provider.
 
2) The number of "seeders" – people sharing the file. Some of torrent files do not have seeders, i.e. you
do not have anyone to download from. This is a specific feature of p2p networks. There are 2 solutions.
The first is to look for another file with the same name but with a higher rating. The second is to wait
for seeders to appear in the network and let you download the file.
 
3) Go to "Settings" - "advanced settings" - "connections" and press RANDOM opposite the port for
incoming connections. This function will change the port and the download will be resumed.
 
4) You must download and install the patch, all instructions and the patch itself can be found at http://
half-open.com/download_ru.htm. MediaGet program has no relation to this patch, it is only an example
for solving this problem.

The Catalogue is a collection of movies summaries and screenshots of movies, games, music and
software. If you find the file you need in the catalogue, you can start searching for this file in our
software. To do this make a double click on the file and you'll jump to the search results. Choose the
best variant and click “Download”. We do not keep these files on our servers, it's just a library of
summaries.

SHARE button lets you share interesting files with your friends. You can share both from search result
and from the TRANSFERS section. By clicking the button you get a link and your friend will follow it and
get exactly the file you refer to.

In the section "Transfers" there is a button “Create a torrent file”. What trackers to include find in the
SUPPORT section of the torrent trackers that you work with.

In order to enable / disable autostart of MediaGet go to "Settings" and check or uncheck "Start with
Windows".

Do a right-click on the icon MediaGet in the lower right corner of your screen and in a pop-up menu
select "Auto Shutdown" and activate the needed item.

In the TRANSFERS section make a right-click on the file and open it in a folder. Proceed according to the
type of file. We do not know what you have downloaded, and questions like "I downloaded the game,
how can I start it?" are not welcome.

Media Player is undergoing the stage of testing( "alpha"). On this stage in case of problems we
recommend using other players to play files.

If it happens, try using not the full name of  the requested file but part of it. If it won’t help you - possibly you are searching for fresh content which has not been uploaded yet. We recommend you to try later.

Files downloading speed depends on some criteria. There are: number of seeds, your connection channel speed, peer delivery speed.
